Keolis uses Visual Planning for working hours, absences, field service tasks and monthly activity reports.

Company
Keolis is an international public transport operator. This reference relates to a unit in Rennes and to the coordination of control, security and dispatch teams.
Background
The department had previously managed its operations using Excel. It was looking for a solution that would allow it to quickly review schedules, coordinate working hours and absences, and document the tasks of its mobile teams in detail.
Solution
Visual Planning manages the location, type and duration of inspections on buses and the metro, as well as tasks relating to health, safety and mediation. Event reports calculate, amongst other things, production days, attendance by location and time slot, and staffing levels. According to the interview, the full roll-out of what was then the new version took six months.
Results
The department reports greater clarity and improved resource coordination. Event reports are used for monthly key performance indicators and analyses. The reference cites a clear definition of requirements prior to configuration as a key factor for success.
“Visual Planning has improved our overview of existing plans and the coordination of our resources.”
Anne-Laure Marinier, Organisation and Methods, Keolis Rennes
